Welcome to Charlie Blackbird LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website, training courses, and services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope of Services:
Charlie Blackbird LLC provides: Food Safety Audits as a subcontractor or independent service provider. Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Training Courses led by qualified instructors. Technical and Compliance Support for certification bodies and food businesses. All services are provided on a professional and independent basis.
2. Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that you:
Are at least 18 years old.
Have the authority to represent your company (if applicable).
Agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
3. Training Services
FSMA training courses are delivered by Lead Instructors or Train-the-Trainers who successfully completed a Lead Instructor Training course by FSPCA and Produce Safety Alliance. Certificates of completion are issued only to participants who meet course requirements. Training content is provided for educational purposes and does not replace legal or regulatory advice.
4. Audit Services
Audit activities are performed according to applicable standards (e.g., FSSC 22000, BRCGS, GLOBALG.A.P., ISO 22000, FSMA).Results are based on evidence observed at the time of the audit. We do not guarantee certification outcomes — final decisions rest with the certification body.
5. Fees and Payments
Fees for services will be agreed in writing prior to delivery. Payments are due within the agreed timeframe stated in invoices. Late payments may be subject to additional charges.
6. Intellectual Property
Training materials, presentations, and website content remain the intellectual property of Charlie Blackbird LLC unless otherwise agreed. Materials may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without written consent.
7. Confidentiality
All audit and training information shared by clients is treated as confidential. We will not disclose information to third parties except when required by law, accreditation rules, or client agreement.
8. Liability Disclaimer
Services are provided with professional care; however, Charlie Blackbird LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Clients remain responsible for implementing and maintaining their own food safety systems.
9. Subcontracting
We may act as subcontractors for certification bodies or companies. Subcontracting agreements are subject to mutual approval and compliance with relevant accreditation rules.
10. Website Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. Unauthorized use, including attempts to access restricted areas or misuse of content, is prohibited.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
